Death Valley Campout

Troop 915’s Death Valley adventure will take place at Furnace Creek Campground, right in the heart of the largest national park in the lower 48. Scouts will set up camp surrounded by striking desert landscapes—towering mountains, salt flats, and star-filled skies. Days will be filled with exploring natural wonders like Badwater Basin, Golden Canyon, and Zabriskie Point, while evenings at camp offer a chance to gather for meals, reflection, and camaraderie. This campout highlights resilience, desert survival awareness, and appreciation for one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. With wide open skies and unforgettable scenery, the Death Valley campout promises to be both challenging and inspiring for the troop.
