Troop 915 is blasting off for an unforgettable weekend at Red Rock Canyon State Park! Scouts and Cub Scouts alike will gather under the desert skies for a Rocket Launching Campout, where everyone gets the chance to build, launch, and recover their own rockets. Surrounded by the park’s dramatic cliffs and colorful rock formations, the campout combines classic scouting skills with the excitement of hands-on science and engineering. Between launches, scouts will enjoy hiking the unique desert trails, stargazing in one of California’s clearest night skies, and sharing campfire stories. It’s a perfect blend of adventure, learning, and fun for scouts of all ages.
